ExperiencesThe Balcón de Europa is Nerja's most famous viewpoint, perched over the sea between small beaches. On the outskirts lies the Nerja Cave, with huge chambers of stalactites visited with an audio guide.
Frigiliana keeps its Moorish quarter of steep lanes and whitewashed houses, with sea views from the top. It's common to visit all three on a single day trip from Málaga.
Between Nerja and La Herradura, the Maro-Cerro Gordo cliffs are a protected natural area best discovered from the water, by kayak or snorkelling.
