Ronda

Things to do in Ronda: guided tours and day trips

Ronda sits on the edge of a gorge over a hundred metres deep, spanned by the Puente Nuevo. It's one of Andalusia's most spectacular towns and the gateway to the white villages.

Hand-picked experiences

The town is split in two by the gorge: the old Moorish quarter, La Ciudad, with its palaces, Arab baths and the Casa del Rey Moro; and El Mercadillo, home to the Real Maestranza bullring, one of the oldest in Spain.

The viewpoints along the Alameda del Tajo and the path down beneath the bridge give the best views. For something more active, there's a via ferrata in the gorge itself.

Close by is Setenil de las Bodegas, the village with houses built under the rock; the most popular plan is to combine both on a day trip from Málaga or Seville.
